Wojewódzka Biblioteka Publiczna w Krakowie zaprasza na plenerowe warsztaty akwarelowe z Georgettą Gancarz, które odbędą się w dniach 1-4 września w godz. 9.00–13.00.

Znasz już podstawy akwareli, ale chcesz wejść na wyższy poziom i poczuć prawdziwą swobodę tworzenia? Porzuć domowe biurko i przenieś swoją paletę do ogrodu!

Zapraszamy osoby pełnoletnie, posiadające podstawowe doświadczenie w malowaniu akwarelą, na wyjątkowy plener artystyczny. W otoczeniu żywej zieleni uczestnicy będą uczyć się, jak okiełznać kapryśną naturę wody i światła oraz swobodnie przedstawiać roślinność.

Podczas warsztatów dowiesz się:

• jak malować dynamiczne, ogrodowe światłocienie,
• jak mieszać naturalne odcienie zieleni bez efektu „brudnej plamy”,
• jak oddać lekkość i strukturę roślin, wykorzystując technikę „mokre w mokrym”.

Zapewniamy profesjonalne materiały malarskie. Zajęcia obejmują praktyczne wskazówki, prezentacje technik oraz indywidualne wsparcie osoby prowadzącej.

Warsztaty prowadzone są w języku angielskim.

Warsztaty skierowane są do osób 18+ na poziomie średniozaawansowanym.

Georgetta Gancarz jest cenioną na całym świecie profesjonalną artystką, profesorką sztuk pięknych, autorką, reżyserką filmową i przewodniczką turystyczną. W ciągu swojej ponad 35-letniej kariery wykładała sztuki piękne na całym świecie. Pełni funkcję dyrektorki generalnej ART–POLI Painting on Location International. Jej prace znajdują się w stałych kolekcjach muzeów, galerii i zabytkowych obiektów publicznych na całym świecie. Jest autorką 29 podręczników artystycznych, a także scenarzystką i reżyserką wielokrotnie nagradzanego filmu dokumentalnego o tematyce historycznej „Dziękuję: List do Józefa Gancarza” (2025).

The Regional Public Library in Krakow invites you to plein-air watercolor workshops with Georgetta Gancarz, taking place from 1 to 4 September, from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm.

Do you already know the basics of watercolor painting but want to take your skills to the next level and experience true creative freedom? Leave your desk behind and bring your palette into the garden!

We invite adults with basic watercolor painting experience to take part in this unique outdoor art workshop. Surrounded by vibrant greenery, participants will learn how to master the unpredictable nature of water and light and depict plants with greater freedom and confidence.

During the workshops, you will learn:

• how to paint dynamic patterns of light and shadow in a garden setting,
• how to mix natural shades of green without creating a “muddy” effect,
• how to capture the lightness and structure of plants using the wet-on-wet technique.

Professional art materials will be provided. The workshops include practical guidance, technique demonstrations, and individual support from the instructor.

The workshops will be conducted in English.

The workshops are intended for adults aged 18 and over with intermediate watercolor skills.

Georgetta Gancarz is an internationally acclaimed professional artist, professor of fine arts, author, film director, and tour guide. Throughout her career of more than 35 years, she has taught fine arts around the world. She is the CEO of ART–POLI Painting on Location International. Her works are held in the permanent collections of museums, galleries, and historic public buildings worldwide. She is the author of 29 art textbooks, as well as the screenwriter and director of the award-winning historical documentary „Thank You: A Letter to Józef Gancarz” (2025).
